One Glass, Three Ways… ““🍸’’🍸”” CLINK!
We’re not talking about neat, straight-up or on the rocks, we’re talking about… Sip, Scoop & Celebrate!
At a glance, a martini glass and a sherbet glass appear interchangeable- both stemmed, elegant, and party-ready. But at a closer look, you’ll notice key differences:
🍸 Martini glasses feature a dramatic conical bowl that’s all about aroma and presentation- ideal for cocktails like (you guessed it) martinis.
🍨 Sherbet glasses (or tall champagnes) have a rounded bowl that’s traditionally used for desserts like sorbet or sherbet, but lend themselves just as easily to bubbly or even petite cocktails.
Here at Dishfunctional, we love honoring a piece’s original purpose, but we really love finding new ways to use it! That’s the magic of upcycling: it’s a shot of sustainability, a shot of creativity, and personality measured at 100%.

🍹 Three Simple Recipes, One Multi-Talented Glass
Here are a few ideas to get you sipping, scooping, and serving in vintage style:
1. Classic Lemon Drop Martini 🍋
Bright, refreshing, and made for a wide, flared bowl.
Ingredients:
- 2 oz vodka
- 1 oz triple sec
- 3/4 oz fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 oz simple syrup
- Sugar, for rimming
- Lemon twist, for garnish
Directions:
Rim glass with sugar. Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into your Seneca Greenbriar glass. Garnish with lemon twist.
2. Champagne & Elderflower Sparkler 🍾
Perfect for brunch or celebrating absolutely anything.
Ingredients:
- 3 oz chilled prosecco or champagne
- 1 oz elderflower liqueur (like St-Germain)
- Fresh mint sprig or edible flower
Directions:
Pour prosecco into your glass, top with elderflower liqueur. Garnish and serve chilled.
3. Raspberry Sorbet Float 🍨
A sophisticated (and very pink) twist on dessert.
Ingredients:
- 1 scoop raspberry sorbet
- 3 oz sparkling rosé or lemon-lime soda
- Fresh raspberries or mint for garnish
Directions:
Add sorbet to the glass, gently pour bubbly over it, and serve with a spoon. Bonus: it looks beautiful and tastes even better.
Whether you’re mixing drinks or dishing out dessert, the Greenbriar glass proves that vintage doesn’t mean limited — it means limitless charm.
