Dishfunctional is on a Buying Hold

We are currently taking a strict pause on buying.

Over the years, Dishfunctional has evolved from estate liquidation and primarily selling vintage to becoming a destination for buying vintage from all. That has brought us an incredible amount of inventory — more than we can currently accommodate.

While we understand the urgency some people may have in finding a new home for their belongings, we cannot accommodate every collection or individual item that is brought to us. We are placing a hold on most buying for the foreseeable future.

At this time, we are only potentially accepting:

• Flatware and silver-plate
• Vinyl records
• Jewelry

These smaller categories are the exceptions because they are easier for us to accommodate. We are not currently accepting other items, collections, or individual pieces outside of these categories.

If you have items that fall outside of these categories, we encourage you to explore other resale stores, consignment shops, auction houses, or online marketplaces that may be able to assist you.

Sometime in 2027, we’ll let you know when we’re ready to welcome more vintage treasures, following this necessary pause.
