We were recently recognized with a Google “Best of 2025” Award for Discount Stores in Chester County. While it’s always nice to be acknowledged, what matters most to us is what the award represents.

Dishfunctional was created for people who love the experience of discovery- the curiosity of not knowing what you’ll find, the exhilarating rush of spotting something unexpected, and the simple pleasure of walking out with something useful, beautiful, delightfully strange. Or the enjoyment of a fun and unique browsing experience. That’s what we strive to deliver every day.

We work hard to keep the store fresh, affordable, and interesting. We curate items that spark ideas, invite creativity, and encourage you to look at everyday objects in new ways. Whether you’re hunting for a practical piece, a decorative accent, or something that reminds you of another time, our goal is to make shopping here feel rewarding, not overwhelming.

We also value honest reviews and thoughtful feedback. They help us understand what’s working, where we can improve, and how we can better serve our community of friends. The recognition we are sharing with you today, tells us we’re doing something right and motivates us to keep showing up, sourcing thoughtfully, pricing fairly, and creating a space where browsing is an important part of the fun.

Beyond the objects on the shelves, the real reward of what we do is the friendships formed along the way and the sense of connection that makes shopping here feel more personal and human. The online recognition we received feels like a cherry on top and a wonderful way to close out 2025. Dishfunctional began as a reesale vendor and Ebay store in 1999 and our retail storefront was officially established 9 years ago. We’re grateful to head into a fresh new year inspired, energized, and committed to what we strive to do best.
