Holloware, otherwise known as "hollowware" or "hollow ware", simply means vessels- a receptacle or something that holds something.
Silver holloware is any silver tableware or serveware item (excluding eating utensils). Items include: candlesticks, teapots, coffee pots, creamer sets, pitchers, platters, and some other items.
Unless the item is actual silver and not silver plated, the value is in the eyes of the beholder.
In the past, silver housewares were a symbol of status. Now it's just for FUN.
